Description

A well-priced home in move-in condition in a great neighbourhood. 😊

Instead of me telling you why you’d love living here, here’s what the current owner, Christy, said:

What do you love most about your home?

Great for entertaining as there are 2 “living room” areas on the main floor, with one right off of the dining room. We enjoyed the wood-burning fireplaces.

Lots of room for parking, with 2 garages and a large parking pad with access to the alley that can accommodate an RV/boat in addition to other vehicles. No carpet, which is great for kids and pets.

What do you love about your kitchen?

Kitchen and dining room have new flooring and updated light fixtures.
Large windows in the front of the house.

What do you love about your bathroom(s)?

Upper floor and basement bathrooms are newly redone (everything is new). Tankless water heater provides unlimited hot water, which is great for a large family.

What upgrades or updates have you done recently?

Recent flooring
Newly painted
New full bathroom renovations (upper and basement)
Recent siding and stone work
Recent windows
Tankless water heater
Recent air conditioner
Honeycomb blinds
Garden doors with integrated blinds

What is the best thing about the location of your home?

Town/resort-like atmosphere, with easy access to Circle Drive so it is quick to get anywhere in the city. Large lots with mature trees. Abundant wildlife allows for frequent deer sightings and many birds and squirrels.

List your top 3 neighbourhood hot spots.

Many parks in the area with mature trees and new playground equipment. Lawn signs are prominent throughout the neighbourhood showing its rich historical roots. Handy location within walking distance of both public and Catholic elementary schools. Shaw Centre and new high schools are a short drive away. Neighbourhood convenience store has that quaint small-town feel.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?

Many know the area because of the yearly community-wide garage sale, which attracts people from all over the city. It is a great event to interact with the rest of the neighbourhood.

Thanks, Christy! 😊
