Description

A well-priced home in move-in condition in a great neighbourhood. 😊

Instead of me telling you why you’d love living here, here’s what the current owners, Brendan and Mary, said:

What do you love most about your home?

The family room that looks onto the backyard is the best room in the house. We have many fond memories of spending time with our children there. It is a huge room with very large floor-to-ceiling windows that look into the backyard. The room also has three large skylights that brighten up the room.

What do you love about your kitchen?

The kitchen is spacious with a ton of storage space. There is a large peninsula that looks out into the backyard. This was great for us because we were able to watch our kids play in the backyard while prepping meals. The large peninsula also allowed our children to bake at the counter with us and do crafts while we cooked and talked with them.

What do you love about your bathroom(s)?

There is one bathroom on each floor which made life with children more convenient. The bathrooms are beautiful, spacious, and bright.

What upgrades or updates have you done recently?

Most of the windows are new. We also built a new deck and fence in the backyard and a new porch at the main entrance. The wood siding on the front of the house was also recently painted.

What is the best thing about the location of your home?

Half a block from two great elementary schools. Walking distance to two high schools and the Shaw Centre. A nice, quiet neighbourhood.

List your top 3 neighbourhood hot spots.

The spray park: located in a huge, well-maintained park. The local family owned convenience store located in Montgomery: it’s a close walk from the house and offers typical early childhood memories of fresh-baked breads, slurpees, and ice cream.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?

Many know the area because of the yearly community-wide garage sale, which attracts people from all over the city. It is a great event to interact with the rest of the neighbourhood.

Thanks, guys! 😊
